History
These branding irons are made in my Trenton, Ohio home machine shop. I made my first one for a friend. and it turns out other people love them too. Since then I have made over 1600 of them, many of which are for repeat clients. They tell me that my service and buying from a fellow craftsman are what brings them back.

I hadn’t realized what the irons I was making would be doing when when they went out into the world. I should have known that these aren’t just gifts to show beloved woodworkers that their hobby is appreciated. They are also used by my clever customers to turn every single item they stamp into a ambassador for their business or cause. Cool branded giveaways for realtors, microbreweries, and distilleries. How to Use
You’ll heat the back of the iron with a common propane torch, test on some scrap a couple times, and then be treated to the smell the wood smoke and the feeling of satisfaction as your design is burned on the project you have poured your heart into. I include picture instructions in every package to make sure you get the best results.
Design Creation
The design can be something you create or something I create for you. When I’m done, you’ll get a copy of your files to use as you wish. The design alone is worth the price.

Can be machined to any size from 1×1″ to 4×4″. Shorter in one direction is just fine. Select the size that fits the longest dimension of your design and I’ll trim the block to fit.
Available with or without the handle.
Uses the standard 3/8-16 thread in the back of the dies to securely mount the handle

If we can’t come up with something that you like at any point in the process I will quickly cancel your order and refund your money. No worries and no hassle. I’m in the happy people business. (Not to mention, I don’t want anything to do with an upset credit card company!) Ordering the wrong size is okay — I can invoice or refund the difference. The order secures your place in line.
2. I’ll immediately send an email when your order is received.
The design can be something you have or something I make for you. I’ll send examples to learn what you like, and we’ll use email to kick pictures of the design back and forth until you feel I have nailed it. After your approval, the fun stuff begins. Metal cutting takes a few days. The whole email process works a lot better than I ever thought it would — I have no doubt my arsenal of examples from more than 1000 past designs helps. Phone calls and Zoom screen sharing meetings can be used if we need to expedite things.
Photo to Approve for Shipping
I will make a test burn and send a photo of the results so you know your product is right even before you open the package. If you are happy, you’ll approve the iron for shipping.
3. After your approval, I ship.
The one-of-a-kind, shiny new branding iron will arrive in 1-3 days, ready to make every workpiece a tribute to its maker.
